Wendy Elizabeth Smith is a well-known solo harpist residing in Southern California. She has attained the distinction of becoming Disney Entertainment’s Preferred Harpist.She was a member of the Saddleback Valley Community Orchestra and played for numerous theatrical performances including “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”.

With her classic grace she performs at weddings, receptions, fashion shows, religious services, business grand openings, corporate functions, restaurants, cocktail parties, clubs, philanthropic organizations and Christmas parties. Wendy plays at the, Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, Balboa Bay Club, Four Seasons, Grand Ca Hotel and Disneyland Hotel.

Wendy’s performances are enhanced by the beauty of her custom made gold Lyon-Healy harp and gold French Camac Harp. Wendy also has an extensive repertoire to suit any special occasion.

Wendy privately trained for twelve years under Mrs. Grace Follet, former Harp Department Chairperson at Syracuse University in New York. Follet was a student of the renowned French-born harpist Carlos Salzedo, whose enduring technical approach is referred to as the “Salzedo Method”. In addition, Wendy received instruction under Ms. Susan McDonald, Senior Harp Director at Julliard School of Music.

Today, Wendy is a professional performer, instructor and harp therapist.
